| Bio: | THEN Raised in a village by Hijad, Cassandra became a healer, learning not only the elements of tending the sick, but also the psychology of wellness. One day, the Four Horsemen came and slaughtered every single person in the village, including Hijad and Cassandra. But Cassandra awoke at the camp of the horsemen, to the terror of being the property of Methos. He raped her, killed her, beat her and abused her, until she learned how to please him. Somehow, in that nightmare, Cassandra came to care for him, and it is her belief that he came to care for her, as well. But there was a power greater than Methos in that camp. Kronos saw the relative peace and pleasure in Methos’ tent, and demanded that his “brother” share everything, including Cassandra. Kronos dragged her from the tent, while she screamed and pleaded for Methos to stop him. But Methos did nothing, and Kronos beat and raped Cassandra, until she stabbed him with his own knife and fled out into the wild. Methos knew what she had done, and he let her go. She died, many times, before finally finding a village that would take her in. She kept wandering, though, never staying in one place long, convinced that if Kronos found her, he would take her head. It was hatred and dreams of revenge that sustained her. She was a slave, a prostitute, a nurse, up until she found herself in Donan Woods. It was there that she met the young Highlander, Duncan MacLeod, and told him of the prophesies. She knew his kinsman, Connor, and they had been friends. She had been a teacher to Roland Kantos, as well as many other young Immortals. In fact, she raised three young Immortals, over her lifetime, as her own children. RECENT EVENTS In 1858, Cassandra came to the United States, and made her way west to Colorado, joining up for a while with Kid and Frank Jarrett, and their gang. There, she worked as a sporting girl, in a saloon, and she shot a man who was attacking a friend of hers. She was sentenced to hang. Her friends, not knowing of her Immortality, gathered together to help her. They headed for Texas, pursued by two Pinkerton detectives. Cassandra had been putting money away for years, and when she went to get it out, Kid Jarrett and his gang robbed the bank and stole her money. Cassandra (under the name Cody Zamora) went after him, and he killed her lover before she killed him. The girls got away, and they built a hotel in Bisbee, Arizona. Cassandra later went to hunt for Kronos, when she discovered he had been in Bisbee, and she located him near Duncan MacLeod. In Duncan’s dojo, she saw his friend Adam Pierson, who was actually Methos. She told MacLeod the story, and Methos finally admitted the truth. Following Kronos and Methos to Bordeaux, France, they found that all Four Horsemen were still alive and planning to kill thousands of people. Kronos, Caspian and Silas kidnapped Cassandra, and Methos manipulated MacLeod into going after her. In the fight, MacLeod killed Caspian and Kronos, while Methos killed Silas. When Cassandra was going to kill Methos, MacLeod intervened. Angry, and still bitter, she fled back to Arizona, and she lives there today on her ranch. PERSONALITY AND OTHER INFORMATION Cassandra is an intelligent and resourceful woman, with a keen wit and sharp sense of humor. She often comes off as cold or callous, but living 3000 years, much of it being a very hard life, she is not one to give in to vaporish emotion or sentimentality. When she speaks of Methos and the Horsemen, she is bitter and hostile. Methos, while in Bordeaux, accused her of having fallen in love with him due to Stockholm Syndrome. The truth is that she had fallen for him, at least for the side of him that she saw when they were alone. But she would have killed him in that fight, had Duncan not stopped her. She is very good with money, and has amassed considerable wealth. She has never married, but has had many lovers over her life, of both genders. She has gifts, such as the voice and the healing that she learned. She is a predominantly private woman, fond of good music, fine wine and animals. She lives on a 50 acre ranch outside of Tombstone, near Bisbee. Bisbee is now an artist’s colony, home to many writers, musicians and artists, and she has made close friends with several. She has six horses and raises purebred Labs. She will occasionally take in a young Immortal as a student, but has not done so in many years. DISCLAIMERS AND OOC INFORMATION Cassandra is a fictional character from the Highlander fandom, and is owned by Panzer/Davis. I make no profit from this fiction writing. In the series, she was played by actress Tracy Scoggins. Please forgive me, purists, but the actress doesn’t suit my vision of her, and I have changed her PB to Madeleine Stowe. I have also incorporated the character of Cody Zamora from the film “Bad Girls” into Cassandra’s history. This is my vision of her, so if it doesn’t suit you, then feel free not to read. There will be graphic sexuality, rape, abuse, violence and other disturbing and adult themes presented in this journal. It is intended for adult readers. I don’t imagine I will be roleplaying with her much, but if I do, she will not roleplay adult themes with any character written by anyone under the age of 18.
